What Are We To Do
As a militant libertarian I am sick and tired of this "libertarianism in one state" meme that has afflicted this nation for too long. Libertarianism is an internationalist philosophy and as such we should be fighting collectivism and advancing the movement at every opportunity. Here is a bullet point list of what we need:
*civic organizations/brigades- We need grass-roots cadres likes the Sons of Liberty of old to spread the freedom philosophy among the people, maintain civic preparedness, and foster a spirit of comraderie among members. Each cell would be marginally independent but all cells would need to keep each other in line to prevent them from degenerating into gangs or indulging in Robespierrish excesses. They would, of course, not be tied to one nation but each cadre would be encouraged to be patriotic to their particular nation. They could also serve as militias if need be. Important: each cadre would need to balance discipline with tolerance of a range of viewpoints (to an extent). The "That's not proper libertarian thought" line is not very endearing.
*highbrow clubs- whereas SoL cadres would be populist in nature (but not in ideology), organizations of a more intellectual variety would be needed to attract the more urbane. These organizations would be think-tanks, groups of community leaders, and clubs that concentrate on philosophies that support and supplement libertarian ideology. These organizations, being more austere, cannot engage in bar room fist fights and paramilitary activities (both domestic and overseas) are out of the question.
*Libertarian International- Some sort of Libintern would be needed to unite all the citizens' brigades, activist groups, high society orgs, philosophical societies, and political parties of libertarian persuasion.
*political league- Some sort of political confederacy/free trade bloc similar to the European Union (except with a constitution). This would be a global organization and not restricted to a particular region. Such an organization would serve to unite libertarian nations and encourage other countries to adopt more libertarian policies (if they want to get in). This commonwealth of free republics could also act as a vehicle for wars of liberation.
*A new Congress of Vienna- The UN needs to be reformed and in a way that will allow us to kill two birds with one stone. If the major powers of the world united to preserve global stability and fight a common foe, the Jihadists. This would go a long way to defeating the forces of Submission and create a popular front between the US, China, and Russia. This way, Russia and the PRC would be too busy concentrating on the islamo-fascist threat to go batshit bonkers over the formation of any commonwealth mentioned above. Still, we would probably need to give them both most favored nation status as well as other trading incentives.
*Additional support for the WTO
*Overhaul the entire education and immigration systems with special concern given to ideology.
*Victory in Iraq- Iraq is the key theater in the war between the forces of Liberty and the forces of Submission.Fortunately, the Surge and the Anbar Awakening have been outstanding successes. Still we will need to remain there in great force for many decades with permanent bases. But if it requires a million-man occupation for a hundred years, it is a cost well worth paying. If we win, aliberal democracy in Iraq would act as a beacon of enlightenment. Such a beachhead would allow us Kaffir Freemen to cure our benighted brothers of the paynim virus.

Some of you reading this may bleat "entangling alliances!" out of context. For the record when the country was first founded we were not in a position and it was not in our interests to screw around with the great powers of Europe. Others might object because it would actually advance the movement and leave them with nothing to be a whiny troll about (Looking at you Ikilled***). America is not a nation in the traditional sense of the term. America is not confined to any ethnicity or geography(but don't think that means we can let our borders and sovereignty be disrespected). America is an idea, an idea of universal liberty, and it was meant to be spread to the far corners of the Earth.

That was rant-tastic.

Not that I entirely disagree. I'd love to see a global, semi-militant movement that centers on freedom, individual rights, local government, and the dignity of man. But I feat that the libertarian movement, like everything else, has been subverted by left-wing radicals.

By the way, it's Kuffar. Kuffar means infidel. Kaffir is the old racist South African word which is roughly equivalent to saying "nigger".

The question, then, is this: Are the kinds of wars and reconstructions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and (soon) Iran justified under the principle that we should "be fighting collectivism and advancing the movement at every opportunity."

In answer to your question, it will not always amount to war, we are going to have to pace ourselves and use diplomacy, trade, and ideological campaigns as well, but we probably will end up going to war with Iran. I have the same article posted over at the libertarianism community, could we take it over there, it's easier for me that way.

Well, I disagree a lot with what you are proposing as I distrust ALL revolutionaries, even those who share my aims. Still, you're interesting,
so nice to be on board.
