Strange Discoveries
I've recently gotten into tabletop RPG's recently and while searching for a livejournal roleplaying community in RI, I found several communities that might be promising, but I found many more that were simply bizzarre and were neither about RPG's nor Rhode Island. One was a livejournal community that combined their love of 40K with their love of hating other races. I didn't know people could do that, be like, "You know what would make my hobby even better, biggotry!". But they come in second place to a community simply labeled Baseball Slash. Needless to say, I did not make the mistake of clicking on it. The Internet can be a very frightening place.

Internet Rules 36 & 43:

36 - There will always be even more fucked up shit than what you just saw.

43 - The more beautiful and pure a thing is - the more satisfying it is to corrupt it.

Then of course there are rules 34 & 35, but we'll leave those alone in this context because there are things I just don't want to see...

There's great swathes of internet-fan-dom I'll be avoiding until the advent of BraneBleachTM...

Technically, it already exists. Just swig a bottle of vodka really fast and it should eliminate your immediate short term memory.
